Situated within OCJ Resort, Knox Cottage provides a scenic lakefront experience with access to walking areas, resort grounds, and nearby wineries, dining, and local attractions. We are on almost 11 acres and have a total of 3 cottages, a studio suite and an event center. You are about 250 feet from the water! You can fish right from the shore, swim, take out one of our small boats, etc.

It is a nice, quiet environment where you can really hear the sounds of nature, experience many different types of wildlife or just simply relax. It is a natural environment and you will encounter uneven ground and may encounter wildlife. You are responsible for your personal safety while out exploring.

Please reach out to us if there is anything you need. We will make every effort to respond quickly. We want you to love your stay! Early check-in or late check-out , if available, must be requested and approved in advance. Please give us advance notice if you plan to check in after dark. Maximum occupancy for the Huguenot is 8, the Sproul is 4 and the Knox is 4. This includes adults and children. No other guests may be on the property without previous permission and the daily access fee paid. Please only drive on the gravel roads. No ATVs or vehicles are allowed anywhere else on our grounds or the army corps property. We have septic systems and drain fields that could be damaged. NOTICE: Loft stairs are not suitable for small children. Please make sure any children using the loft are comfortable with getting up and down the stairs. NO PARTIES are allowed with the exception of previously approved birthday or reunion parties. No outside guests may attend without prior approval. NO SMOKING/VAPING is allowed in the cottages or on the cottage balconies. Please make sure you properly discard all cigarette butts. The kayak, canoe and row boat are available for use but you must use a life jacket. Any use of the boats, lake, grounds are done at your own risk. Please use the kitchen grease can underneath the sink to dispose of any kitchen grease. We are on a septic system and will dispose of grease properly after your stay. Please make sure you are using freezer bags/air tight containers to hold any fresh caught fish in the refrigerator/freezer. A black shoe/boot tray has been provided. We encourage you and your guests to remove your shoes upon entering the cottage to keep the cottage clean and comfortable during your stay. Please ensure all trash is properly disposed of in the trash can located outside the laundry house/gift shop. No trash can be left anywhere on the grounds or near the water. Balcony chairs can be moved by the fire pit but must be put back at the end of your stay. These chairs CANNOT be taken lakeside. No fishing, boating or hunting gear can be stored inside the cottages. Please turn off all lights and turn the thermostat to 75 degrees for AC or 68 degrees for heat. You must leave the cottage in a reasonable condition. Broom swept, trash taken out, dishes done, refrigerator/freezer empty. Please leave the linens on the beds.
